DIRECTOR GENERAL OF NADMO INSPECT ON-GOING PROJECT AT TEPA ODIKRO NKWANTA



The Director General of National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO), President of NALAG and also a  National Council Member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP),Hon Eric Nana Agyeman Prempeh  has embarked on a day visit to inspect an on-going  Mechanized Bole hole project in Odikro Nkwanta in the Ahafo Ano north municipal in the Ashanti region which has been their problem for so many years.

Hon Eric Nana Agyeman Prempeh has been doing developmental projects in the Ahafo Ano north since 2004 when he was the DCE till date.

They have already finished the drilling and it left with the installation of the tank and other common things

 According to him the tour was to let him have first-hand information on progress of work and listen to the needs of works on the ground.

Hon Eric Nana Agyeman Prempeh was impressed with the level of work done so far and entreated the workers to keep to the timeline and to ensure early completion of all projects to serve their respective objectives and to improve the living conditions of the Odikro Nkwanta Community.


The opinion leaders praised and thanked Hon Eric Nana Agyeman Prempeh for his good works to their community. And also promise to support him in everything.

   We know as Hon Eric Nana Agyeman Prempeh is there our problem is going to be solved permanently, they said.

ELECTION OF PRESIDING MEMBER FOR AHAFO ANO NORTH MUNICIPAL ASSEMBLY

The Ahafo Ano North Municipal Assembly exercised its Constitutional right of selecting a Presiding Member (PM) for the newly elected Assembly Members on the 21st of February, 2024 at the Municipal Assembly Hall. As enshrined in the Local Governance Act, 2016 (ACT 936), Section 17(4).  Though the Presiding Member should have been elected on the day of the inauguration, it was required by law that the Secretary of the house, announce the voting to be rescheduled since none of the aspirants had 2/3 of the total valid votes cast. TEPA HOSTS PROFESSIONAL EXAMINATION FOR 105 APPRENTICE DRESSMAKERS

Last Saturday, the Tepa Zone 1 of the Ghana National Tailors and Dressmakers Association (GNTDA) conducted a professional examination for 105 apprentices in Tepa. The apprentices, who have undergone three years of training, sat for the examination to certify and formalize their operations as tailors and dressmakers in the country. Ibrahim Aziz Bright, Chairman of Tepa Zone 1 of GNTDA, emphasized the importance of taking the examination seriously, as it will enable the apprentices to acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their profession. He advised the apprentices to listen and obey their masters to avoid difficulties during the examination. Mrs. Margaret Nartey, Coordinator of Tepa Zone 1 of GNTDA, appealed to the government and local authorities to provide school uniforms and other attire for the apprentices to sew, instead of sending them to different districts.
