CONCERNS ARISE OVER LIMITED VOTER REGISTRATION TURNOUT IN AHAFO REGION- MR SANDY AMANKWAH

In a surprising turn of events, Mr. Sandy Amankwah, an Assemblyman hopeful for the Airport, Zongo Asukese electoral area of the Asunafo North Constituency in the Ahafo Region of Ghana, has expressed his discontent with the limited voter registration exercise in the region. Mr. Amankwah's concerns stem from the discouragingly low number of registrations that have taken place, particularly in the Mim Airport, Zongo Asukese electoral area, where he aspires to contest the assembly member elections.

Despite the registration exercise lasting for six days, only a mere 50 individuals have been registered in Mr. Sandy Amankwah's electoral area. This dismal turnout has left Mr. Amankwah disheartened and deeply worried about the overall participation of the community in the upcoming elections.

The limited voter registration exercise is a crucial process in the democratic fabric of Ghana. It serves as an opportunity for eligible citizens to have their voices heard by participating in the electoral process. However, the stark underrepresentation in the Mim Airport, Zongo Asukese electoral area is a cause for concern, as it may reflect a lack of enthusiasm or awareness about the importance of voting.

In response to this disheartening situation, Mr. Sandy Amankwah has taken it upon himself to urge all Ghanaian citizens to register to vote before it's too late. He recognizes that active participation in the democratic process is the cornerstone of a functioning democracy, and he is dedicated to raising awareness and encouraging his fellow citizens to exercise their right to vote.

The limited voter registration exercise is a critical step toward ensuring that every eligible Ghanaian has the opportunity to vote and have their say in the governance of the country. Mr. Sandy Amankwah's concerns highlight the need for increased civic engagement and awareness in the Ahafo Region, and it is a call to action for all citizens to take their role in democracy seriously.

As the limited voter registration period continues, it is hoped that Mr. Amankwah's message resonates with the community, leading to a more active and engaged electorate in the forthcoming assembly member elections. Only through active participation can the voices of the people be truly represented, and the democratic principles of Ghana be upheld.
