Director of Wioso Senior High School Offers Scholarships to 2023 WASSCE Candidates



In a commendable effort to motivate and reward academic excellence, Mr. Akomeah Dannies, the Director of Wioso Senior High School, located in the Ahafo Ano South West Municipality of the Ashanti Region, has announced a promising scholarship opportunity for 2023 WASSCE candidates. ELECTION OF PRESIDING MEMBER FOR AHAFO ANO NORTH MUNICIPAL ASSEMBLY

The Ahafo Ano North Municipal Assembly exercised its Constitutional right of selecting a Presiding Member (PM) for the newly elected Assembly Members on the 21st of February, 2024 at the Municipal Assembly Hall. As enshrined in the Local Governance Act, 2016 (ACT 936), Section 17(4).  Though the Presiding Member should have been elected on the day of the inauguration, it was required by law that the Secretary of the house, announce the voting to be rescheduled since none of the aspirants had 2/3 of the total valid votes cast. TEPA HOSTS PROFESSIONAL EXAMINATION FOR 105 APPRENTICE DRESSMAKERS

Last Saturday, the Tepa Zone 1 of the Ghana National Tailors and Dressmakers Association (GNTDA) conducted a professional examination for 105 apprentices in Tepa. The apprentices, who have undergone three years of training, sat for the examination to certify and formalize their operations as tailors and dressmakers in the country. Ibrahim Aziz Bright, Chairman of Tepa Zone 1 of GNTDA, emphasized the importance of taking the examination seriously, as it will enable the apprentices to acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their profession. He advised the apprentices to listen and obey their masters to avoid difficulties during the examination.
