NPP COMMUNICATION OFFICER FOR AHAFO ANO NORTH ADVISES DELEGATES ON UPCOMING PRESIDENTIAL PRIMARIES

In preparation for the New Patriotic Party's (NPP) presidential primaries scheduled for November 4, 2023, Mr. Appiah Kubi Kwame, the Communication Officer for the Ahafo Ano North Constituency, has delivered a message of unity and responsibility to the delegates in the area.

Mr. Appiah Kubi  Speaking to Abrantepa kizaro emphasized the importance of unity, urging all delegates to come together as one family and avoid any actions that could incite violence within the party. He discouraged the teasing or provocation of fellow party members during this crucial process.

Furthermore, he reminded delegates that it is against the law and the principles outlined in the 1992 constitution to take photos or show their ballot to the public. Any such action would render the vote invalid, and he urged everyone to be mindful of this.

Mr. Appiah Kubi stressed that the presidential primaries are not a battleground for physical confrontations. Regardless of which candidate a delegate supports, they should cast their vote and leave the polling station. Each candidate has their designated agent present for the vote counting process. Engaging in disruptive behavior or trying to demonstrate strength would not only jeopardize party unity but also expose the party's strategies to opposing parties.

He concluded by highlighting the primary objective: winning the 2024 general election. Mr. Appiah Kubi affirmed that by maintaining decorum and unity during the primaries, the NPP can focus on the broader goal of securing victory in the upcoming national elections.

This message serves as a reminder of the significance of responsible and orderly conduct during party primaries, as well as the importance of cohesion to achieve success in the general election.
