In a heartwarming display of dedication to education, Nana Kwadwo Nsiah, the Chief of Tepa Bonkrom, has once again proven that community support is paramount for the growth of our schools. The Basic school in Bonkrom M/A Primary and JHS, situated in the Ahafo Ano North, received a significant boost as the Chief and his Elders generously donated thirty (30) Dual Desks and twenty (20) Mono Desks, valued at over Ghc 6000.00.
The desks, essential for creating a conducive learning environment, were officially handed over to the Municipal Education Director, Mrs Grace Oppong Agyapong, by the School Improvement Support Officer (SISO) for Anyinasuso Circuit, Madam Sussan Animah, in a ceremony that celebrated the spirit of community involvement.
Expressing his commitment to education, Nana Kwadwo Nsiah emphasized the importance of maintaining the desks and urged teachers to instill a culture of care. In addition to his plea to the central government and philanthropists for further assistance, Nana Kwadwo Nsiah has been a consistent supporter of education in Bonkrom. He previously provided 1000 copies of exercise books to students, facilitated the purchase of school uniforms, and offered assistance to teachers in various capacities.
Madam Sussan Animah, in her role as SISO, extended gratitude to Nana Kwadwo Nsiah for his ongoing support. She handed over the desks to the respective headteachers, encouraging them to ensure the longevity of these valuable resources.
Nana Kwadwo Nsiah's benevolence serves as a beacon, highlighting the significant impact community leaders can have on the educational landscape. As Bonkrom M/A Primary and JHS continues to thrive through such support, it is a testament to the power of collective efforts in nurturing the next generation.
