TEPA-KATABO ASSEMBLYMEMBER ORGANIZES CLEANUP EXERCISE TO MARK NEW YEAR DAY

 



The Katabo  Electoral Area in the Ahafo Ano north municipality newly elected Assembly member, Mr. Habib Mohammed popularly known as Alhaji Kiti has organised a clean up exercise on New Year Day.


The exercise is to keep the environment clean and also advocate for cleanliness among residents to maintain a clean and healthy environment.


Mr. Habib Mohammed and the Unit Committee members with the support of the Zongo electoral area Assembly member Mr Issah Mohamed and the community intended to clean and desilte gutters around Tepa ward 1 area, where indiscriminate dumping of waste has choked the gutters with filth and sand.


Habib Mohammed who was engaged by Abrantepa kizaro says his major concern was to help improve the sanitary condition in the area. He also urge on his fellow Assembly members and MPs to also do same and  added that the cleaning of the area should be a collective effort and must not be left in the hands of only the government. 


He also used the opportunity to appeal to members of the  Tepa ward 1 community to cultivate a new habit of keeping their environment clean.


 Finally Mr Habib Mohammed said they will prosecute environmental offenders  after much had been done to sensitise the people on the need to keep the environment clean.

SABRONUM METHODIST SHTS HEADMASTER APPEALS FOR GOVERNMENT SUPPORT TO ADDRESS INFRASTRUCTURE DEFICIT

The headmaster of Sabronum Methodist Senior High Technical School, Rev. Peter Nimoh, has made a heartfelt appeal to the government to address the critical infrastructure needs of the institution. RIGHT TO INFORMATION OFFICER FOR AHAFO REGIONAL COORDINATING COUNCIL ENCOURAGES ACCESS TO INFORMATION

In a recent interview on the AMANSAN NTIE MORNING SHOW Hosted by Abrantepa kizaro on Rejoice fm 101.7 at Ahafo Mim, Mr. Theophilus Nti-Antwi, the Right to Information Officer in the Ahafo region, provided valuable insights on how Ghanaians can acquire information through the Right to Information Act. Mr. Nti-Antwi emphasized that to request and receive information in the Ahafo region, individuals only need to possess their Ghana card.
