HEAVY STORM CAUSES SEVERE DAMAGE TO SCHOOLS IN TEPA

A powerful rainstorm lashed Tepa, leaving a trail of destruction as roofs were torn off and school buildings were damaged, affecting several educational institutions in the area.

The storm, which lasted nearly two and a half hours and was accompanied by strong winds, caused significant havoc. The Tepa Presbyterian Junior High School and Tepa M/A Basic School both suffered roof damage, while a two-classroom block at Akwasiase Methodist Basic School was completely destroyed.

Fortunately, no injuries or fatalities were reported among students or staff during the calamity.

Abrantepa Kizaro, who visited the affected sites, witnessed the extent of the damage firsthand. The destruction has resulted in the loss of vital learning materials crucial for both teachers and students.

In response to the disaster, concerned residents are appealing to authorities for urgent assistance to help restore the damaged facilities. The community's plea underscores the need for prompt action to ensure that educational activities can resume without delay.

Local authorities are encouraged to expedite efforts to support the affected schools and provide necessary resources to restore the learning environment for the students of Tepa.
