The highly anticipated "My Cocoa Life" nationwide rally, sponsored by Yayra Glover Limited, successfully launched its first phase at Tepa in the Ahafo Ano North Municipal of the Ashanti Region. This significant event marked a pivotal moment for the region's cocoa industry, drawing together stakeholders, farmers, and community leaders for a day of celebration and education. Mr. Samuel Opoku, the lead organizer of "My Cocoa Life," emphasized the rally's aim to promote sustainable cocoa farming practices and enhance the livelihoods of cocoa farmers. The event featured a series of informative sessions, workshops, and interactive activities designed to protect cocoa farming, particularly in light of the destructive impact of illegal mining activities (galamsey) on cocoa farms.
