My Cocoa Life" Nationwide Rally Phase One Held at Tepa

The highly anticipated "My Cocoa Life" nationwide rally, sponsored by Yayra Glover Limited, successfully launched its first phase at Tepa in the Ahafo Ano North Municipal of the Ashanti Region. This significant event marked a pivotal moment for the region's cocoa industry, drawing together stakeholders, farmers, and community leaders for a day of celebration and education. Mr. Samuel Opoku, the lead organizer of "My Cocoa Life," emphasized the rally's aim to promote sustainable cocoa farming practices and enhance the livelihoods of cocoa farmers. The event featured a series of informative sessions, workshops, and interactive activities designed to protect cocoa farming, particularly in light of the destructive impact of illegal mining activities (galamsey) on cocoa farms.   The District Chief Executive for Ahafo Ano South East District Assembly has assured the good people in the district to bring development to their doorsteps.  He made this statement when he was delivering his sessional address on the first ordinary meeting of the second assembly of the fourth session of the assembly on 30th of April 2024 at the conference room of the District Assembly. Some traditional leaders in Asante Kingdom are honestly following the footsteps of the Overlord of Asante Kingdom Otumfour Osei Tutu ll in term of development and the chief of Bonkrom in Tepa Traditional Council of Asante Kingdom Nana Kwadwo Nsiah is a perfect example.  Nana Kwadwo Nsiah has constructed a beatiful dubar ground for his people and periodically provide teaching and learning materials to the schools at Bonkrom and many more  Nana Nsiah and his elders are building ultra modern toilet facility at Bonkrom which is about seventy five percent complete (75%) .
