WILLING VESSELS FOUNDATION DONATES ASSORTED ITEMS TO TEPA KING JESUS ORPHANAGE







 The Tepa Branch of the Willing Vessels Foundation has generously donated a variety of essential items to the Tepa King Jesus Orphanage. This act of kindness, driven by the foundation's commitment to supporting local charities, has significantly impacted the orphanage.


The donation included toiletries, soft drinks, bags of sachet water, gari, sugar, rice, biscuits, cooking oil, toffees, and an undisclosed amount of money. These items were presented by Mr. Adjei Nyamekye George, the president of the Tepa branch. He emphasized the foundation's mission and highlighted its continuous support for local charities since its establishment in 2021. "Today, we are proud to extend our support to the Tepa King Jesus Orphanage," Mr. George stated.


The children at the orphanage expressed their heartfelt gratitude for the foundation's generosity. One of the children remarked, "We are deeply grateful to the Willing Vessels Foundation for their remarkable support. This generous gesture will go a long way for us." The donation also serves as a call to other philanthropists and organizations to support the Tepa King Jesus Orphanage. As the orphanage continues to seek additional support, the community's appreciation and the foundation's efforts stand as a testament to the power of collective goodwill.


The delegation from the Willing Vessels Foundation included several key members: Pastor Eric Ampah (Founder), Adjei Nyamekye George (Tepa Branch President), Pastor Alfred Quainoo (General Secretary), Karim Bukari (Tepa Branch Secretary), Hegan Kwame Gyasi, Pastor Peter Amankwaah, Theresah Asando, Osei Kofi Samuel, Mr. James Yeboah Adupidie, Amoah Richard, Agyiri Moses, and Jennifer Antwi.


The foundation's dedication to charitable work continues to inspire and uplift communities, proving that collective efforts can bring about significant.

ELECTION OF PRESIDING MEMBER FOR AHAFO ANO NORTH MUNICIPAL ASSEMBLY

The Ahafo Ano North Municipal Assembly exercised its Constitutional right of selecting a Presiding Member (PM) for the newly elected Assembly Members on the 21st of February, 2024 at the Municipal Assembly Hall. As enshrined in the Local Governance Act, 2016 (ACT 936), Section 17(4).  Though the Presiding Member should have been elected on the day of the inauguration, it was required by law that the Secretary of the house, announce the voting to be rescheduled since none of the aspirants had 2/3 of the total valid votes cast. TEPA HOSTS PROFESSIONAL EXAMINATION FOR 105 APPRENTICE DRESSMAKERS

Last Saturday, the Tepa Zone 1 of the Ghana National Tailors and Dressmakers Association (GNTDA) conducted a professional examination for 105 apprentices in Tepa. The apprentices, who have undergone three years of training, sat for the examination to certify and formalize their operations as tailors and dressmakers in the country. Ibrahim Aziz Bright, Chairman of Tepa Zone 1 of GNTDA, emphasized the importance of taking the examination seriously, as it will enable the apprentices to acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their profession. He advised the apprentices to listen and obey their masters to avoid difficulties during the examination.
