Chief of Tepa- Anyinasuso, Supports 2023 BECE Candidates with Writing Materials

In a heartwarming gesture of support for the 2023 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) candidates, the Chief of Anyinasuso, Tepa, Nana Oppong Kyekyeku Barima, and his esteemed Elders visited the examination center to present essential writing materials. The act, aimed at enhancing the candidates' preparation and success, reflects the community's commitment to education and the future of its young minds.

The 2023 BECE examinations, a pivotal moment for thousands of students nationwide, have drawn the attention and support of communities across the country. Ahafo Ano North, a municipality known for its dedication to education, has seen a total of 1864 candidates participating in eight Examination Centers. Among these centers, the Anyinasuso Center stands out not only for its number of candidates but for the noble gesture extended by its Chief and Elders.

Nana Oppong Kyekyeku Barima, in the company of his respected Elders, presented writing materials worth over GHC 1000 to the 301 candidates at the Anyinasuso Center, representing ten different schools. The thoughtful packages included pens, pencils, erasers, and sharpeners—essentials that ensure each candidate is well-equipped to put their knowledge onto paper during the examinations.

During the presentation, Nana Oppong Kyekyeku Barima took a moment to address the candidates. He shared valuable words of advice, encouraging them to uphold the principles of integrity and honesty throughout the examination process. He emphasized the importance of eschewing any form of examination malpractice and assured the candidates of potential rewards when the results are eventually released.

The significance of this gesture was not lost on the recipients. Madam Sussan Anima, the SISO for the Area, and the Center Supervisors expressed their gratitude to Nana Oppong Kyekyeku Barima and his Elders for their kind visit and thoughtful gesture. They acknowledged that such support goes a long way in boosting the morale and confidence of the candidates, fostering a sense of community, and reinforcing the idea that education is a shared responsibility.

Among the prominent Elders present during the presentation was Nana Kwame Boakye Yiadom, who, on behalf of the Chief, handed over the writing materials to the examination center's Officers. This collective effort by the Chief and his Elders showcases the unity and determination of the community to invest in its future leaders.

This gesture of support not only exemplifies the spirit of community and education but also serves as an inspiring example of how a united effort can positively impact the lives of young individuals striving for academic excellence.
