TEPA HOSTS PROFESSIONAL EXAMINATION FOR 105 APPRENTICE DRESSMAKERS

Last Saturday, the Tepa Zone 1 of the Ghana National Tailors and Dressmakers Association (GNTDA) conducted a professional examination for 105 apprentices in Tepa. The apprentices, who have undergone three years of training, sat for the examination to certify and formalize their operations as tailors and dressmakers in the country. HEAVY STORM CAUSES SEVERE DAMAGE TO SCHOOLS IN TEPA

  A powerful rainstorm lashed Tepa, leaving a trail of destruction as roofs were torn off and school buildings were damaged, affecting several educational institutions in the area. The storm, which lasted nearly two and a half hours and was accompanied by strong winds, caused significant havoc. The Tepa Presbyterian Junior High School and Tepa M/A Basic School both suffered roof damage, while a two-classroom block at Akwasiase Methodist Basic School was completely destroyed. Fortunately, no injuries or fatalities were reported among students or staff during the calamity. Abrantepa Kizaro, who visited the affected sites, witnessed the extent of the damage firsthand.
